जिस हिंदी वाक्य की क्रिया के अंत में सका , सकी , सके , सका था , सकी थे , सकी थी इत्यादि रहे , उस क्रिया का अनुवाद Could में होगा .

सभी Subject के साथ Could का प्रयोग किया जाता हैं।

Use of Could with Positive Sentence

Subject + Could + Varb1st + Object.

नीचे दिए गए वाक्यों को ध्यान से देखें :

1. मैं वहां पहुंच सका.  I Could reach there.

2. आप समय पर पहुंच सके.  You could reach on time.

3. हम लोग उसके साथ अंग्रेजी बोल सके.  We could speck English with him.

4. रवि विनीता के साथ नाच सका.  Ravi could dance with Vinita.

5. वे लोग तेज दौड़ सके.  We could run fast.

Use of Could with Negative Sentence

Subject + could + not + Varb1st + Object.

नीचे दिए गए वाक्यों को ध्यान से देखें:

1. मै वहां नहीं पहुंच सका.  I could not reach there.

2. आप समय पर नहीं पहुंच सके.  You could not reach on time.

3. हम लोग उसके साथ अंग्रेजी नहीं बोल सके. We could not speak with him.

4. रवि विनीता के साथ नहीं नाच सका.  रवि could not dance with Vinita.

5. वे लोग तेज नहीं दौड़ सके.  They could not run fast.

Use of Could with Interogative Sentence

Could + Subject + (not) + Varb1st + Object ?

नीचे दिए गए वाक्यों को ध्यान से देखें :

1. क्या मैं वहां पहुंच सका ?  Could I reach there ?

2. क्या आप समय पर पहुंच सके ?  Could you reach on time ?

3. क्या हम लोग उसके साथ अंग्रेजी बोल सके ? Could we speak English with him ?
